8/10/14 Weekly Meal Plan & Goals

Well, the blog has been silent for awhile, and I apologize. No, I haven’t had the baby, but life has been full and any extra time I’ve had lately has been spent resting. At 37 weeks, there ain’t a whole lot of energy in this old Mama, so I’m trying to be careful in how I expend it.

This past week I returned from a leadership retreat that blessed me beyond belief and came home to celebrate my 35th birthday with my sweet family. We’ve been schooling in full force, and I’ve made some changes to our curriculum and “schedule” that are working wonderfully. I will share very soon. Of course as soon as Baby A arrives, we’ll be changing the schedule again, but for now, it’s working for us 🙂

This week we’re forging on with our studies. Woohoo!!  And on Wednesday, my sweet Bible study group is having a shower for me. When it’s your 4th, people often think “you have everything” and we do have pretty much all we need, but if you want to bless a Mama of multiples, remember that diapers and wipes are always needed 🙂

Goals for the Week

1. Finish contributor post for Year Round Homeschooling & submit.

2. Write 1-2 blog posts.

3. Install infant car seat & pick up any baby items we still need after Wednesday’s shower.

4. Drink red raspberry leaf tea daily.

5. Mail birthday card + gift to my niece.

6. Rest & relax as much as possible.

7. Read! My goal is to read 40 books this year, and I’ve only read 23.

Mamas, what are your “must-have” baby items?

Homeschooling Mamas, have you started the new school year?

Blessings to you this week, sweet friends!
