Are Black Friday & Cyber Monday ads cluttering your inbox?
Do you want to reclaim Christmas from the clutches of commercialism this year?
Do you want your family to get back to the true meaning of Christmas?
For me personally, I want my young children to know that Christmas is more than Santa Claus, oodles of presents, and Christmas goodies. Christmas is the time of year when we focus on Jesus, specifically His birth. But it’s also a time when we can share an even greater truth: That because Jesus came to Earth as a baby, lived a perfect life, died on the cross, and rose from the dead, we have HOPE of eternal life. No present, no treats, not even Santa Claus come close to the beauty of that truth.
That’s why I’ve teamed up with a group of like-minded bloggers to share how we are reclaiming Christmas this year in the hopes that our families — and maybe yours too — will Keep Christ at the Center this Christmas.
Each day beginning on Monday, December 2, and going through Friday, December 7, five bloggers — including myself — will be sharing how we are each striving to keep Christ at the center this holiday season.
You will have the opportunity to hear from these lovely ladies:
Monday: Caroline of Anchored in His Grace will share special Christ-centered Christmas books for children
Tuesday: I will post on how we use Truth in the Tinsel, an Advent celebration for young children, in our family (affiliate)
Wednesday: Jelli of Jellibean Journals will share how she uses the Advent calendar
Thursday: Gabby of MamaGab will show how her family focuses on the Nativity
Friday: Jillian of Olive Plants & Cornerstones will be sharing her favorite Christ-centered Christmas decorations
Then, on Friday, December 6, there will be a link-up where YOU will have a chance to share YOUR Christ-centered Christmas posts! If you don’t have a blog, come by & check out the wonderful ideas that will be shared!
I hope you will join us each day this week as we do our best to stay focused on Christ this Christmas!!
